Lucea Vacations

Lucea Vacations

Summary
Lucea Vacation Packages brings you to the quiet and peaceful resort town of Lucea, on Jamaica’s northwestern coast. The major resort of Lucea, Grand Palladium, gives you prime access to the town without being right in it. With the relatively small size of Lucea, you’ll be able to get away from everything and have nothing but relaxation, and a good deal of tanning time.
Crime is virtually non-existent in Lucea, but you’d be none the wiser to making sure your valuables are contained and hidden on your person, just to be on the safe side.
Culture
Lucea began back in the latter half of the 1700s as a garrison village for the soldiers stationed at Fort Charlotte (which is still standing today), and slowly but surely, Lucea evolved into a decently-sized tourist attraction, with many guided tours existing that can take you around Lucea and the natural trails and the coves and such that surround the town.
You can also find out, via Lucea Vacation Packages, that the major high school in Lucea is comprised of part of Fort Charlotte, as well as the large old structure known as The Barracks.
Exploration
Most of your exploring of Lucea will be done through Lucea Vacations, and most of it will take you into the hills outside of Lucea, as there are many coves and waterfalls and streams for you to check out.
Like many other places in Jamaica, Lucea’s small population have a great love of reggae and trading historical stories of their ancestry.
A very popular icon of Lucea is the Clock Tower that sits in the town. Built in 1817, this clock tower is still completely functional, and many of the people who pay a visit to Lucea always stop and see this ancient Clock Tower.
Food
Vacation Packages in Lucea will show you that, like the remainder of Jamaica, Lucea’s cuisine is greatly attributed to their fruits and vegetables, such as yams, sweet potatoes, bananas, and others, but also like the rest of Jamaica, sugar, cocoa, and coffee are very big in the area as well.
Back in the day, until about 1955, Lucea was a major exporter of bananas to the rest of Jamaica, but since Jamaica’s other more major settlements gained a thriving banana exportation industry, Lucea has since fallen by the wayside.
Nightlife
Vacations in Lucea will show you that, while the nightlife of such a small town would be expected to be quiet, you can actually have a fair bit of fun at such places as the 300 Club, Green Dragon, and Border Line. However, the true love of the Jamaican nightlife can be had on Lucea’s main beach, where you could build a roaring bonfire, get together with some of the locals, and have an all-out party through the night.
One of Lucea’s other redeeming nightlife qualities is the incredible amount of quiet you could have in the room you’re staying at. For the most part, you’d be able to spend your evening quietly, listening to the sounds of nature outside.
